Therapist and Wellness Coach

I provide counseling for clients with substance use disorders as well as health and wellness coaching specifically focusing on clients with a history of trauma, disordered eating, or those seeking to improve their overall well-being through the use of integrative medicine practices (Mind Body Skills) such as yoga, meditation, nutrition, and movement.  My trauma-informed care focuses on the belief that most of our maladaptive behaviors are rooted in trauma and our attempt to alleviate the pain and self-medicate; by healing the trauma and learning new coping skills we can rewire the brain and improve our overall wellbeing.  I also offer group counseling focused on trauma and mind body skills.

Substance Use Counselor

I am a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor with experience in mental health. I have a passion for helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve their goals for a better life.

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and various stages of addiction, helping them navigate the challenges of recovery and develop the skills necessary to maintain a sober lifestyle.

I believe that a personable and safe 1:1 therapeutic relationship is essential for effective counseling. My approach to therapy is client-centered and goal-oriented. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their strengths and areas for growth, and then develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs.
As a counselor, I understand the importance of providing a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore their feelings, experiences, and behaviors. I offer a compassionate and supportive space where clients can feel comfortable and confident to work through any issues that may be blocking their potential.

My specialties include substance use, alcoholism and addiction. I use evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions.
